Uploading a bill or statement
Reading details out of a document, and what Lumio keeps afterwards.
What is accepted
PDF, PNG or JPEG, up to 10 MB and 20 pages. Lumio reads text from the file to suggest values.
It is read on Lumio's own servers
PDF text is parsed directly and images are read with optical character recognition running on Lumio's infrastructure. Uploaded documents are not sent to a third-party AI or document-processing provider.
Always your confirmation
Extraction is deliberately limited and often imperfect. Lumio shows you what it read and waits for you to confirm or correct it — no record is created from a document without your review.
Retention
Uploaded documents get a 30-day window by default so files nothing links to do not pile up. You can delete a document yourself at any time, and deleting it does not delete the record it informed.
