A separate workspace

A wedding has its own budget categories, vendors, tasks, milestones and payments, kept apart from your monthly money so a one-off event does not distort the ordinary picture.

Inviting a planner

A planner you invite sees only the event you invited them to: its vendors, tasks, milestones and budget amounts. They cannot record or change payments, cannot reach anything else in your household, and cannot open documents you marked restricted unless you granted them individually.

Afterwards

Archiving an event keeps everything readable and exportable. Archiving is not deletion — nothing in an archived event is removed.
